B&C International has been supporting regional charity for many years. However, since 2012 we have crossed the borders of the Netherlands. B&C has been in touch with a small project in the village Mago in Kenya.
With our support we would like to stimulate the inhabitants of Mago to become self supporting. Education is the basis for this objective. We help to reach this objective by delegation of knowledge, providing tools, and developing new fields of studies. In 2012 and 2013 we have contributed to the construction of a Polytechnic- and Hotel & Tourism School.
One can only learn on a full stomache and in good health. Therefore we have two other goals we would like to complete for the inhabitants of the village; sufficient nutrition and good medical facilities. At B&C International several initiatives have collected money and goods for Mago. When checking out at the cash register for lunch employees are able to donate 15 euro cents (good for one meal in Mago) or 3 euros (good for a full month of meals in Mago), and empty PET bottles can be handed in order to donate the deposit.
